The Glitch Mob are the people of Glitch City. In a neon-drenched, chaotic city they stand as a force for change, battling corporate control and shifting alliances. Each one unlocks a piece of the story.
The art is a little weird, but also fun and relatable. The DNA was crafted over several months, and every trait, the body tones above all, draws on a wide range of ethnic, cultural and sociological inspiration: something new with a sprinkle of cliché. This genesis collection is the first chapter.
Dynamic DNA
Every character is generated from one DNA structure, so no two are alike: attire, faces, accessories and context, balanced for rarity and for how they look together.
Layered by hand
The generator stacks each trait in layers, with exclusions and compatibility checks, so only combinations that make sense visually and in the story get through.
Named and numbered
Each character carries its own generated name and a Glitch City ID in its metadata, a fingerprint that follows it into whatever the city builds next.
From six districts
Every member of the Mob belongs to a district of Glitch City, from Zahara Lux to Kali.

What is the Glitch Mob?
A collection of 2,000 generated characters, the people of Glitch City. It is chapter one of the Glitch City characters, and every one has its own name, district and Glitch City ID.
Where can I get one?
The collection trades on OpenSea under Glitch Mob, on the Base network. Every character on the collection page links to its own listing.
What do the traits mean?
Each character is built from layered traits: district, shirt, the print on the shirt, ink, background, body, hair, eyes, mouth and more. The collection page lets you filter by district, shirt and print.
What is the Glitch City ID?
A unique identifier stored in each character’s metadata, so the same character can be recognized across everything Glitch City builds.
What is Glitch City?
A marketplace, business directory and resource center laid out as a city of six districts. The Glitch Mob live there, and each one belongs to a district.
